Ο ισχύων επίσημος οδηγός της ΕΕ για το κυπριακό σύστημα, του 2025, επιτρέπει τον συνυπολογισμό περιόδων ασφάλισης μόνο για την ΕΕ, τον ΕΟΧ και την Ελβετία. Δεν αναφέρει τίποτα για τον βορρά.
