The Republic of Cyprus Ministry of the Interior's Permanent Secretary, Elikkos Elia, confirmed on 7 February 2026 that 837 Turkish Cypriots were registered to vote in the May 2026 parliamentary election, up three from the 834 registered for the 2024 European Parliament election.
