The European Commission's twenty-second Green Line report, covering 2025, records that funds still cannot be transferred between banks in the government-controlled areas and banks in the north, and that this continued to hamper Green Line trade. The same report names restrictions imposed by the Turkish Central Bank on Turkish banks cooperating with banks in the Republic as a further complication.12
